Natural Stones:
Granite, Marble & Quartzite
Granite
Granite is one of the hardest natural materials available, second only to diamond. This makes it incredibly durable and resistant to scratches, heat, and stains. Properly sealed granite countertops can withstand the wear and tear of daily kitchen activities, making them an excellent investment for any home.
Marble
Marble is a natural, porous stone that is known for its timeless beauty. Each marble slab has a unique veining pattern, making your countertops one-of-a-kind. Due to its porous nature, marble does require extra care and maintenance to keep them free of scratching, staining and etching. They require regular sealing and cleaning.
Quartzite
A natural stone formed when sandstone undergoes intense heat and pressure, causing the quartz crystals to fuse and create a very hard, durable stone.
Quartzite is known for its exceptional strength and resistance to scratches, stains, and heat, making it a popular choice for kitchen countertops.
MANMADE STONE: Quartz
Quartz
Quartz is non-porous, hard wearing, resistant to heat and scratching, and does not require sealing, making it low maintenance. It is an engineered stone made from 90-95% crushed natural quartz crystals combined with resin. Quartz countertops are heat-resistant up to a certain temperature, but they are not heat-proof.
